
Aman Chauhan is an IndiGo Cadet Pilot currently undergoing integrated flight training at 43 Air School in South Africa. Alongside his aviation training, his interests encompass youth leadership, public communications, diplomacy, and international engagement. He has actively represented the Youth Peace and Development (YPD) Forum in engagements with the Ambassadors and High Commissioners of South Africa, Denmark, Tunisia, and Mauritius, contributing to discussions on youth participation, international cooperation, sustainable development, and people-to-people engagement. Prior to joining the YPD Forum in his current capacity, Aman coordinated communications within the Comprehensive Development Framework (CDF) Council, where he served as a central point of coordination between departments. In this role, he monitored departmental progress, facilitated the flow of information, and supported effective coordination across the Council.
Aman currently serves as the Director of Communications & Public Relations (DCPR) at the Youth Peace and Development (YPD) Forum. In this capacity, he oversees the Forum’s institutional communications, public relations, media engagement, and stakeholder outreach. His responsibilities include developing and coordinating official communications, preparing announcements and communication materials, supporting press and media engagement, coordinating institutional correspondence, monitoring updates from the Forum’s Directorates, and ensuring effective communication with the Chairman’s Office and other institutional stakeholders. As DCPR, Aman works to develop clear, consistent, and professional communication strategies that strengthen the Forum’s public identity, institutional credibility, and external engagement. He coordinates communication relating to the Forum’s programmes, initiatives, publications, and activities, while ensuring that its objectives, achievements, perspectives, and policy work are communicated accurately and effectively across appropriate platforms.
Aman also contributed to the successful release of the YPD Forum publication, The Millennial Mahatma, launched at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, supporting the event’s communication, coordination, and outreach efforts. Through his work at the YPD Forum, Aman contributes to advancing the organisation’s broader mission of promoting youth participation, peacebuilding, democratic governance, sustainable development, international cooperation, and institutional collaboration. His combined experience in communications, coordination, international engagement, and aviation reflects a multidisciplinary approach to youth leadership and public service
