The Founder’s Office serves as the principal leadership, strategic planning, and institutional coordination office of the Youth Peace and Development Forum (YPD Forum). It provides overarching institutional vision, strategic direction, and organisational oversight, ensuring that the Forum’s activities remain aligned with its founding principles, long-term objectives, and commitment to youth-led development, public policy, and global peace.

Led by Dheeraj GN, Founder and First Chairman of YPD Forum, the Founder’s Office provides strategic leadership for the Forum’s long-term institutional development, research and policy agenda, governance systems, national and international partnerships, and major programmes and publications. It works to ensure that the Forum’s initiatives are intellectually rigorous, institutionally coherent, and meaningfully connected to India’s development priorities and the advancement of global peace.

The Office also provides intellectual direction to YPD Forum’s research ecosystem. Dheeraj GN is an author and researcher whose academic interests encompass Indian civilisation, history, governance, public policy, political science, economics, sustainable development, and international relations. His published works include The Grand Chronicle of Indian Civilisation (2025), presented to the 14th President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind; The Kerala Discourse: Understanding Indian Civilisation from the South (2025), presented to the 13th Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri V. D. Satheesan; and the edited volume The Millennial Mahatma: A Multidisciplinary Perspective on Relevance and Renewal (2026). His work reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary research, evidence-based policymaking, and informed public discourse on issues of national and international importance.

As the principal architect of YPD Forum’s long-term research agenda, Dheeraj GN, through the Founder’s Office, provides strategic direction to several flagship national initiatives. These include the Comprehensive Development Framework Reports, a national programme to develop evidence-based development roadmaps for India’s 28 States and 8 Union Territories; the Strategic Transformation Framework Reports, which seek to develop reform-oriented policy frameworks across the Ministries of the Government of India; the Bilateral Cooperation Framework Reports, designed to examine and strengthen India’s partnerships with nations across the world through comprehensive sectoral cooperation strategies; and the Indian Enterprise Reports, a research initiative examining India’s leading enterprises, industries, innovation ecosystems, and business institutions to advance entrepreneurship, competitiveness, and inclusive economic development.

Beyond strategic planning, the Founder’s Office provides institutional guidance across research, publications, policy initiatives, partnerships, organisational development, and national programmes. It also supports the development of young researchers and emerging leaders by promoting intellectual engagement, interdisciplinary learning, evidence-based analysis, and practical policy thinking.

Through its leadership and coordination functions, the Founder’s Office seeks to strengthen YPD Forum as a credible youth-led institution for public policy, research, development, and peacebuilding. By connecting academic knowledge with practical policymaking and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with national and global challenges, the Office contributes to YPD Forum’s broader vision of a more informed, innovative, peaceful, and cooperative global community.
