Governing Council

The Governing Council is the highest executive and decision-making body of the Youth Peace and Development Forum (YPD Forum). It is responsible for providing strategic leadership, institutional governance, policy direction, and oversight of the Forum’s activities.

The Governing Council consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and the Board of Directors (Executive Committee), who are entrusted with planning, implementing, and supervising the Forum’s programmes, research initiatives, partnerships, publications, and organisational development.

The Chairman serves as the principal executive and institutional leader of YPD Forum, providing strategic direction and leadership.

Board of Directors (Executive Committee)

The Board of Directors, functioning as the Executive Committee of YPD Forum, serves as the principal executive body responsible for the Forum’s organisational administration, operational management, and implementation of decisions and directives issued by the Governing Council.

Each Director is entrusted with leadership of a designated functional area and is responsible for developing and implementing programmes, coordinating activities, and contributing to the Forum’s strategic development, institutional effectiveness, and operational excellence. Collectively, the Board of Directors ensures effective coordination across the Forum’s functional divisions and supports the execution of its mission, strategic priorities, and organisational objectives.
