The Internship Programme is designed to provide students and young professionals with practical experience in research, public policy, leadership, communications, and organizational management. Interns work closely with the YPD Fellow and project teams, contributing to the Forum’s research initiatives, publications, events, policy projects, and community programmes.
The programme is conducted on a bi-monthly basis, with a maximum intake of 20 interns per cycle. Interns are selected based on their academic background, motivation, and commitment to the mission and values of YPD Forum.
Throughout the internship, participants receive opportunities to develop research, analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills while gaining practical exposure to the work of a youth-led public policy and development organization.
Outstanding interns who demonstrate exceptional performance, professionalism, leadership, and commitment may be considered for appointment as Fellow of YPD Forum, subject to the approval of the Governing Council. This provides a structured pathway for talented young individuals to take on greater responsibilities and contribute to the Forum’s long-term institutional development.
