The Chairman serves as the principal executive and institutional leader of YPD Forum, providing overall strategic vision, organisational leadership, and governance oversight. The Chairman is responsible for guiding the Forum’s long-term institutional strategy, major research initiatives, national and international partnerships, organisational development, and policy direction, while ensuring that the Forum’s programmes and operations remain aligned with its founding principles, mission, values, and objectives.
The Chairman provides overarching leadership to the Forum’s governing and executive structures, facilitates coordination across its institutional functions, and represents YPD Forum in matters of strategic importance. The office also supports the development of the Forum’s research, policy, leadership, and partnership initiatives, while fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, intellectual independence, and responsible youth leadership.
Through this role, the Chairman provides continuity between YPD Forum’s founding vision and its institutional development, ensuring that the Forum remains focused on its commitment to youth-led development, evidence-based public policy, research, and global peacebuilding.
