Monish Krishna

Monish Krishna Chanda is an aspiring Commercial Pilot with a focused interest in building a career in aviation. He has progressed through key stages of pilot training, including clearing the requisite DGCA examinations and medical requirements. His aviation journey reflects discipline, consistency, and a clear long-term commitment to pursuing a professional career in commercial aviation. Through his training, Monish has developed foundational knowledge of aviation and gained a practical understanding of the processes, requirements, and training pathways involved in becoming a commercial pilot. His engagement with different training institutions and pathways demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a sustained commitment to achieving his professional objectives.

Alongside his aviation training, Monish serves as the Director of Partnerships & Outreach (DPO) at the Youth Peace and Development (YPD) Forum. In this capacity, he contributes to the Forum’s youth-focused initiatives, institutional engagement, and external outreach. He supports the development of programmes and initiatives aimed at strengthening youth participation, institutional collaboration, and public engagement, while contributing to the Forum’s broader organisational objectives. As DPO, Monish is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening the YPD Forum’s institutional partnerships and external relationships. He leads efforts to establish and expand collaborations with universities, research institutions, civil society organisations, government agencies, corporate partners, and international organisations, while identifying opportunities for strategic cooperation across the Forum’s programmes, research initiatives, and institutional activities.

The role also involves coordinating with the Director of Strategic Marketing (DSM) on institutional outreach, partnership communications, promotional initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the public positioning of collaborative programmes. Through this coordination, Monish contributes to expanding the YPD Forum’s national and international institutional network and strengthening opportunities for meaningful collaboration. Through his dual engagement in aviation and youth-led institutional development, Monish brings a structured, goal-oriented, and collaborative approach to his responsibilities. His work reflects a commitment to personal development while contributing to the YPD Forum’s broader mission of advancing youth participation, sustainable development, institutional collaboration, public engagement, and international cooperation.
